"Blue Mountain Drive" is a Nashville band that officially launched in the beginning of 2024. The band is led by long time Broadway veteran Erik Martinek and fiddle virtuoso Serena Z.

Erik Martinek originally is from Illinois and got his start performing locally every week at the age of 12. Week after week he worked on his craft and his passion for all types of music developed more and more. At the age of 18, he was accepted to Berklee College of Music as a scholarship student, but decided the next year to move to Nashville and follow his dream of being a performer. Since 2019, Erik has performed over 1,000 shows in Nashville and started a successful Spotify project "CANYON LAND". He has performed at Tootsie's with Country Music Stars Randy Houser, Kelsea Ballerini, Justin Moore, and Carly Pearce. Erik is known Downtown for having memorized over 2,000 songs over multiple genres. Southern Rock and Country has become his main focus for "Blue Mountain Drive" and always wants to give everyone an authentic 'Nashville Experience' that they won't find anywhere else.

Serena Z is also from Illinois and was born into a family of musicians. Her family ran a local guitar shop "Park Ave Guitarz" for over 20 years. She started to learn the Violin at the age of 4 and immediately fell in love with music. She was born with perfect pitch and competed in Classical Music competitions on the violin throughout her childhood. One of her many highlights growing up was doing a side by side performance with the legendary "Yo-Yo Ma" and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. She was accepted to Berklee College of Music on a full ride Presidential scholarship and graduated in 2020. Since graudating, she has performed with the iconic 'John Legend' and continues to be involved in many genres including Disco, Pop, and a solo EDM project. Blue Mountain Drive is the perfect platform for her to showcase her virtuosic playing on the Violin. Her fiddle performances are mesmerizing and unlike any other on Broadway.
